Big news in the football world! Arsenal Football Club is talking to West Ham United about signing one of their best players — Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus, who is 24 years old and comes from Ghana, is a super talented player. He plays in attack and can be used in different positions.

Arsenal is very interested in bringing him to their team before the new season begins.

Too Pricey?

Right now, Kudus has a special rule in his contract called a release clause.

This means if a team wants to sign him without asking West Ham, they have to pay €100 million (that’s over 100 million dollars!).

But Arsenal doesn’t want to spend that much. Instead, they think he’s worth around €55 to €60 million.

That’s still a lot of money, but not as much as the full price.

If Kudus really wants to play in a European competition like the Champions League or Europa League, he might ask to leave — and that could make West Ham lower their price.

Other Teams Watching

Arsenal isn’t the only club that wants Kudus. Chelsea and Newcastle United are also interested.

Chelsea wants a strong left-winger, and Newcastle needs someone fast and skilled for the right wing.

Fortunately for them, Kudus can play on both sides!

His Stats

Since joining West Ham in 2023, Kudus has been awesome on the field.

He has scored 19 goals and made 13 assists in 80 games. That’s a pretty solid record!

His value in the football world has been rising ever since.

Kudus has also played for Ghana’s national team 42 times, making him one of the most experienced young players from his country.

What’s Next?

We don’t know yet if Arsenal will make a deal with West Ham, but Kudus is definitely a player to watch this summer.
