Tottenham Hotspur are heading into some exciting new territory after a big win in Europe!

After a tough season where they finished 17th in the Premier League, Spurs made a huge comeback by beating Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final.

That victory not only gave them a trophy for the first time in 17 years — it also opened the door to three major European tournaments.

First up, Tottenham will play in the Champions League next season, the biggest club competition in Europe. That’s a big deal on its own.

That game is scheduled for August.

In this special match, the Europa League winners face off against the winners of South America’s Copa Sudamericana.

This challenge was first played in 2023, with Spanish club Sevilla beating Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle in a dramatic penalty shootout.

However, the 2024 edition didn’t happen because the teams couldn’t agree on a match date.

This year, Tottenham are expected to play Argentina’s Racing Club, and their president, Diego Milito (a former star for Inter Milan), is eager to get the match scheduled.
