Chelsea Football Club is in talks with Jadon Sancho’s team to keep him at the club after a successful season.
Sancho, who is 25 years old, joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United last August.
Since then, he has played well, scoring 5 goals and assisting 10 more in different competitions.

Chelsea is interested in making Sancho’s move permanent, but it depends on whether they can agree on a new contract that fits the club’s salary rules.
Right now, Sancho earns a lot of money at Manchester United—up to £300,000 a week.
Chelsea doesn’t usually pay players that much. Instead, they offer lower base wages with bonuses if players perform well.
Even though Chelsea has a contract that says they must buy Sancho for £25 million, they can pay a £5 million fee to cancel that deal if they change their mind.
Still, they would prefer to keep him.
Recently, Sancho scored an important goal in the UEFA Europa Conference League final, helping Chelsea beat Real Betis 4–1.
His goal in the 83rd minute made it 3–1, and it showed why Chelsea values him.
Chelsea Is Also Signing a Young Striker
In other news, Chelsea is also close to signing Liam Delap, a 21-year-old striker from Ipswich Town.
The club has agreed to pay his £30 million release clause.
Delap had a strong season despite Ipswich being relegated from the Premier League.
Chelsea plans to meet with Delap’s agents soon to finalize the deal.
He was impressed after watching Chelsea’s recent win over Real Betis and is excited to join a young team that’s aiming for future success.
Chelsea hopes Delap will help improve their attack, and the club believes its playing style and future goals are a good fit for him.
