Manchester United, one of the most famous football teams in the world, just lost an important match in the Europa League final.

They played against Tottenham and lost, which means they won’t get to play in next year’s big European competitions.

This has made things really tough for the team, especially when it comes to money.

Because of this loss, the club is planning to make huge changes. They are thinking about letting go of many players—even some of their most popular ones!

Even the Captain Could Leave

Bruno Fernandes, who is the team’s captain and one of their best players, might be sold.

In fact, the club is open to selling any player if the price is right.

Some other big names that could be sold include:

  • Casemiro
  • Harry Maguire
  • Luke Shaw
  • Andre Onana
  • Alejandro Garnacho
  • Rasmus Hojlund
  • Marcus Rashford
  • Antony
  • Jadon Sancho

Rashford, who has had problems with the manager, might want to join another team like Barcelona.

Garnacho was upset that he didn’t get to start in the big match, and now other teams like Chelsea and Napoli are interested in him.

Sancho, who has been playing for Chelsea on loan, will return soon—but the club wants to sell him too.

Time to Rebuild

Manchester United’s new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and his team from INEOS will be in charge of fixing the team.

They plan to sell players and bring in new ones to rebuild the squad.

But first, the team will go on a tour to Malaysia and Hong Kong after their last game of the season.

Once they’re back, the team will start making the big decisions about which players stay and which ones leave.
