Bruno Fernandes continues to shine as Manchester United’s midfield maestro, earning the club’s April Player of the Month award—his third this season after wins in February and March.
The Portuguese playmaker played a pivotal role in United’s dramatic Europa League quarter-final comeback against Lyon, converting a crucial extra-time penalty to help seal a place in the semi-finals.
He also orchestrated the attack with a stunning assist in the first leg, and nearly found the net with a powerful volley that rattled the bar.
In the Premier League, Fernandes stood out in tough fixtures, claiming Man of the Match honours in both the draw with Manchester City and the stalemate at Bournemouth.
The captain edged out strong competition to win 39% of fan votes, beating Harry Maguire (27%), Casemiro (24%), and young talent Leny Yoro (9%).
Fernandes kicked off May in style as well, scoring twice in United’s commanding 3-0 semi-final first-leg win over Athletic Bibao.
