But while Palmer had success on the field, his experience with American food didn’t go quite as well.
“Disgusting!” – Palmer Not a Fan of U.S. Beans
After the final, Palmer relaxed by exploring New Jersey and tried some popular fast food.
He visited Chick-fil-A, a well-known American restaurant chain. But one dish in particular didn’t sit well with him — baked beans.
“I tried Chick-fil-A,” Palmer said in an interview. “It was baked beans. Disgusting. Our UK beans are better.”
His honest opinion got fans talking online, with many agreeing or debating his taste!
Home Roots and a Tropical Break
Palmer is now spending time off the pitch visiting St Kitts and Nevis, the island where his grandfather was born.
Locals welcomed him warmly, proud to see someone with family ties to the island doing great things on the world stage.
What’s Next for Cole Palmer?
With a short break before the new Premier League season, Palmer will soon return to action.
Chelsea’s 2025–26 campaign kicks off with several London derbies — including matches against Crystal Palace, West Ham, Fulham, and Brentford.
