Tottenham Hotspur chairman, Daniel Levy, says it’s time for the club to aim higher with new coach, Thomas Frank.
He wants the team to win big trophies like the Premier League and the Champions League.
This change comes after Levy made the tough decision to fire their old coach, Ange Postecoglou, even though Postecoglou helped the team win the Europa League this year—their first trophy in 17 years.

Levy said it was hard to watch the last seven minutes of that final match when Spurs were leading 1-0.
He was nervous until the game ended. When Tottenham won, he felt very happy.
But he also said, “We’ve won a European trophy but it’s not enough. It’s what we haven’t done that’s more important.
“We need to win the league. We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League. We want to win. I have very broad shoulders. Failure is not an option. The desire is to succeed. And because it’s so difficult I want to succeed even more.”
Tottenham’s new CEO, Vinai Venkatesham, was also introduced in a video posted on the team’s website.
He said the club looked at more than 30 people to find the right coach. In the end, Thomas Frank was their top choice.
Venkatesham said Frank is great at helping young players grow, and that’s exciting for the future of the team.
Frank comes in with a big job ahead of him. The club wants more success on the field, not just a great stadium and fun events.
“Everything is about the team,” Levy said. “We want to win, and that means building the best team possible.”
Even though Postecoglou was let go, Levy thanked him for his work.
He said Postecoglou would always be part of the team’s history and is welcome back any time.
Meanwhile, one of Tottenham’s players, Manor Solomon, is stuck in Israel due to the military conflict with Iran.
He had just gotten married to his long-time partner, Dana Voshina, but can’t leave the country right now because Israeli airports are closed.
