What should have been a night of celebration for Chelsea turned chaotic at the final whistle, as tempers flared and Paris Saint-Germain’s head coach Luis Enrique lost his cool — striking Blues forward Joao Pedro in a heated confrontation.

PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma also charged into the fray, angrily confronting Pedro.
Then, at least he same time, his manager reached around and connected first with Pedro’s throat — and then with a follow-up hit that floored the Chelsea man.
Coaches rushed in to separate both sides, but the damage was already done. Heated exchanges broke out across the pitch.

The ugly scene reportedly stemmed from earlier on-pitch tension.
PSG’s Achraf Hakimi seemed particularly irked by Pedro and Andrey Santos, gesturing that the Chelsea pair had been too talkative during the match — a gesture that may have sparked the confrontation.

Despite the drama, Chelsea had already done the business where it mattered — on the pitch.
Cole Palmer was once again the star, scoring twice before Joao Pedro added a third before the break.
PSG, fresh off their Champions League success, looked out of sorts all night and were unable to match Chelsea’s energy or quality.
As officials struggled to contain the post-match chaos, Luis Enrique was eventually held back and kept apart from Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
While the post-match violence will be reviewed, it did little to overshadow Chelsea’s historic win — their second major trophy this season after lifting the Conference League title.
