Dowman’s being tipped as the next big thing out of Hale End.

Chelsea might be ready to sell Noni Madueke this summer, but Arsenal have made one thing crystal clear — Max Dowman is off the table.

In what sounds like a cheeky move, Chelsea reportedly suggested including Arsenal’s 15-year-old wonderkid Max Dowman in a potential swap deal for Madueke.

But Arsenal didn’t even entertain the idea. Their response? A quick and sharp “No chance.”

Why Is Max Dowman Such a Big Deal?

If you haven’t heard of Max Dowman yet, now’s the time to take note. The kid is special.

At just 14 years old, he became the youngest-ever goalscorer in the UEFA Youth League, and he’s already playing with Arsenal’s U18 and PL2 sides. That’s unheard of.

Dowman’s being tipped as the next big thing out of Hale End.

Coaches say he’s unreal in training. Even Mikel Arteta is keeping a close eye on him, saying:

“Some of the things he does in training are unbelievable.”

He’s being mentored by Declan Rice, and Arsenal insiders see him as a future first-team regular alongside young guns like Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Some even say he’s got that Kaka x Ødegaard vibe.

So yeah… it’s no wonder Arsenal aren’t letting him go — especially not to a direct rival like Chelsea.

Madueke Wants Arsenal, But…

Back to the transfer front — Noni Madueke is reportedly keen on a move to the Emirates and has agreed personal terms.

But Chelsea want around £50 million, which is giving Arsenal second thoughts.

Madueke had a solid season with the Blues, scoring 11 and assisting five across 45 appearances.

He’d definitely add flair and depth to Arsenal’s wide options, especially with Bukayo Saka needing support.

But here’s the catch: Chelsea’s asking price is steep, and throwing in Dowman to sweeten the deal?

Arsenal weren’t having any of that.

Arsenal’s Not Letting History Repeat Itself

Remember when Chelsea snatched Omari Hutchinson from Hale End?

Arsenal fans haven’t forgotten — and the club seems determined not to let another young gem slip through their fingers.

Other big clubs like Manchester City and even Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Dowman, but he can’t sign a pro contract until he turns 17 in 2026.

So for now, Arsenal are doing everything to lock him in and protect their future.

Transfer Update: More Moves Incoming

Aside from Madueke, Arsenal are having a busy window.

They’ve already wrapped up a £5 million deal for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, and they’re close to signing Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi (£51m) and Brentford’s Christian Nørgaard (£15m).

There’s also growing interest in Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres.

So yeah — exciting times ahead for Gooners.

But one thing’s certain: Max Dowman isn’t going anywhere.
