Liverpool have reportedly made a bold move to sign Kevin De Bruyne, offering the Manchester City legend a chance to fulfill his childhood dream of playing for the Reds.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool have submitted an offer for the 33-year-old midfielder, who grew up supporting the Merseyside club and idolizing Michael Owen.
De Bruyne, who recently left Man City after a glittering decade filled with Premier League and Champions League glory, is weighing up his next destination.
The Belgian maestro is also being courted by Napoli and MLS side Chicago Fire.

Napoli are said to be making a serious push, banking on Romelu Lukaku’s influence to sway De Bruyne, while Fire are hoping his fondness for the U.S. lifestyle tips the scales in their favor.
Liverpool’s approach is particularly dramatic given De Bruyne’s iconic status at City.
However, with Jurgen Klopp’s departure and Arne Slot now at the helm, the Reds are looking to make a statement signing—and De Bruyne fits the bill.
Despite some recent injury struggles, De Bruyne believes he can still compete at the top level and was surprised City did not offer a contract extension.
