Liverpool is turning red once again – and this time, it’s for a record-equalling 20th top-flight title!

Fresh off their emphatic 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield, the newly crowned Premier League champions are ready to celebrate with their fans in the most iconic way possible: a city-wide victory parade.

When and Where’s the Parade?

Mark your calendars for Monday, 26 May.

The celebratory open-top bus will depart from Allerton Maze at 2:30 PM (BST) and make its way through a 9-mile route, including some of Liverpool’s busiest and most beloved streets.

Expect a sea of red along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, before the grand finale on Blundell Street.

The parade is expected to last 3 to 5 hours, giving fans plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere and catch a glimpse of Arne Slot and his title-winning squad.

A Weekend of Celebration in Liverpool

It’s not just about football – the last weekend in May is shaping up to be a citywide celebration.

With BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival lighting up Sefton Park from 23–25 May, and the Reds’ final league match against Crystal Palace on 25 May, it’s a bumper bank holiday weekend no fan will want to miss.

Free for All – But Plan Ahead

The best part? The parade is completely free. Just bring your Liverpool spirit and find a good spot along the route.

But be smart – rolling road closures and heavy traffic are expected, and fans are being urged to plan travel in advance.

And sorry, pyrotechnics and flares are a no-go.

Police and city officials are promising a safe and unforgettable event.

Chief Inspector Chris Barnes put it best: “This parade will be a fantastic event for the players, the club, the city, and all the fans.”

More Than Football

For Council Leader Liam Robinson, this isn’t just about silverware.

“A Liverpool victory parade is more than football – it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit,” he said.

And he’s right. For Liverpool, football is woven into the city’s soul – and when the Reds win, the whole city celebrates.

So get your scarves ready, dust off those chants, and prepare to turn the city red.
