With just two games left in the Premier League, Chelsea face a crucial run-in and must win both matches to guarantee a top-five finish.

Currently sitting fifth, Chelsea are level on points with Aston Villa and only narrowly ahead of Nottingham Forest, who sit in seventh place.

The race for Champions League qualification is tight, and Chelsea can’t afford any slip-ups.

Adding to their pressure, Chelsea have the Europa Conference League final against Real Betis just three days after their last Premier League game.

Despite this demanding schedule, Poyet believes that the team must show focus and determination.

Chelsea must qualify for the Champions League next season,” Poyet said in an interview. “There used to be expectations of finishing in the top two or three, but now even securing a top-five spot feels like a challenge. This Friday, Chelsea face a tough test against Manchester United, while Aston Villa will go head-to-head with Tottenham Hotspur.
