“I’m very excited,” Salah told Liverpool’s official website. “We have a great team now, and I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. That’s why I decided to stay.”
Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017 for £37 million, Salah has firmly established himself as a club legend.
He currently ranks third on the club’s all-time scoring list with 243 goals in 394 appearances.
At 32, he’s showing no signs of slowing down—this season alone, Salah has netted 27 goals and provided 17 assists in 31 Premier League matches, leading the league in both categories.
Reflecting on his time at the club, Salah said, “I had my best years here. Hopefully, it will be 10 years at the end. I’m enjoying my life, my football, and I’m very happy to stay.”
Underlining his commitment, Salah also delivered a heartfelt message to the fans:
“Keep supporting us and we’ll give it our best. Hopefully, we can bring more trophies to Anfield.”
Salah’s extension signals a continued commitment to Liverpool’s winning ambitions.
The club, which currently leads the Premier League title race, is pushing for another historic season.
Salah has already helped secure the Premier League title in 2020, along with the Champions League, FA Cup, and two League Cups during his time with the Reds.
