Tottenham Hotspur have made the decision to sack manager Ange Postecoglou, according to sources from Football Insider.

While the club’s official stance is that no final call has been made, insiders reveal that Spurs chiefs are set to part ways with the Australian just over a week after he helped deliver their first trophy in 17 years.

Chairman Daniel Levy has been out of the country in recent weeks, but discussions have continued behind the scenes.

Spurs were waiting for the buzz of the Europa League final win in Bilbao to fade before taking any big steps.

They also wanted to gauge the mood among fans.

Now, however, the club is moving forward with plans to find a new manager.

A formal announcement on Postecoglou’s exit is expected in the coming days.

Despite winning silverware in Europe, Postecoglou, 59, is paying the price for a disastrous Premier League campaign.

Spurs finished 17th — their worst-ever result in the league — with 22 defeats and 65 goals conceded.

New Manager Search Already Underway

Tottenham are already making moves to line up a replacement, sources say.

Brentford’s Thomas Frank, Fulham’s Marco Silva, and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola are all admired by Spurs’ board.

All three have top-flight experience and reputations for developing players — key qualities the club is now prioritising.

Football Insider revealed on 4 May that Silva could be the most open to talks, although no clear favourite has emerged.

As Iraola edges closer to signing a new deal with Bournemouth, Spurs may shift more focus toward Frank and Silva.

However, Frank has a release clause in his Brentford contract — something Levy is usually reluctant to pay.

Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League interest could also complicate a move for Silva.
