Manchester United, one of the biggest football clubs in England, has had a very busy few weeks.
They’ve been signing new players, saying goodbye to some, and making important decisions about their team.
Let’s dive into what’s really happening—and what it could mean for the club’s future.

🧩 Who’s Coming In?

- Matheus Cunha, a striker from Wolves, is joining United.
- United is also trying to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. He scored 20 goals last season!
Two young players already joined:
- Patrick Dorgu (20) – a fast left wing-back from Italy.
- Ayden Heaven (18) – a central defender from Arsenal.
👉 These signings show that United wants young, hungry players who can grow and become stars.
💡 What’s the Big Strategy?
New coach Ruben Amorim says he has a clear plan.
- He wants a strong attack, because the team missed too many chances last season.
- United is now focusing more on players with Premier League experience, like Cunha and Mbeumo. This makes it easier for them to perform well quickly.
- Amorim also says they can’t fix everything in one summer. It’s going to take time.
🚪 Who’s Leaving?

Sancho scored an important goal in the UEFA Europa Conference League final

United has too many players and not enough matches next season (they didn’t qualify for European football). That means some players must go.
Players the coach doesn’t want:
- Jadon Sancho
- Antony
- Marcus Rashford
- Alejandro Garnacho
Players who may be sold:
- Rasmus Hojlund
- Joshua Zirkzee
- Casemiro
Players who could stay or go:
- Many players are in this group. United will sell them if they get a good offer.
💰 The problem? Some players like Sancho earn huge salaries, and other clubs can’t afford them unless the players take a pay cut—which they may refuse.
That means United might end up paying part of their salaries even after they leave! 😬
📉 Money Problems?
United needs to save money because they’re not playing in Europe next season.
Fewer matches means less money from tickets, sponsors, and TV.
That’s why they need to be smart about who they buy and sell.
⚽ What’s Next?
United’s technical team—Jason Wilcox and Matt Hargreaves—has a big job. They must:
- Buy the right players
- Sell the right players
- Stay within the budget
How well they do this will decide how strong the team is next season.
