This comes a day after it was accidentally leaked by Nike.
The design of the shirt is inspired by famous buildings and the culture of London, the city Chelsea calls home.

Premier League teams are allowed to wear next season’s kit in the final home or away games of the current season.
Chelsea’s game against Manchester United was their last home match, so many fans expected them to wear the new kit.
So, why wasn’t the new kit worn in their match against Manchester United which Chelsea won courtesy of a goal from Marc Cucurella assisted by Reece James?
For most of the 2024/25 season, Chelsea didn’t have a sponsor on their shirts.
In April 2025, Chelsea signed a short-term sponsorship deal with a company called Damac Properties, which will only appear on the shirts for the final few games of the current season.
However, Chelsea chose not to wear their new kit—and here’s why:
Sponsorship complications. Most football shirts have a sponsor’s logo on the front, which helps clubs earn money.
The new 2025/26 shirt does not have Damac’s logo on it, since that sponsorship deal won’t continue into next season.
Because of this mismatch—wearing a shirt with no sponsor when they currently have one—Chelsea decided not to wear the new kit during the match.
