Arsenal have officially shown interest in Chelsea winger Noni Madueke by sending him a contract offer.
If accepted, Madueke could become the latest player to leave Stamford Bridge this summer—possibly alongside fellow forward Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea’s Summer Shake-Up
New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is reshaping the team’s attack. The club has already:
- Signed Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, who will join after the Club World Cup.
- Brought in Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
These new signings will challenge the current squad for starting positions:
- Delap will compete with Nicolas Jackson as striker.
- Pedro is set to replace Christopher Nkunku.
- Gittens might take over Jadon Sancho’s role.
Estevao will fight for a place on the right wing, increasing competition for Madueke.
Madueke Likely to Leave
Because of the increased competition, Chelsea are now open to selling Noni Madueke if they get a good offer.
Reports from Sky Germany say Arsenal have already made their move and are in talks with the player.
Madueke is one of several wingers Arsenal are watching. They’re also still thinking about making a move for Rodrygo from Real Madrid.
Chelsea paid around £30 million for Madueke when they signed him from PSV. They now want about £50 million to let him go, but it’s unclear if Arsenal will agree to that.
What About Nicolas Jackson?
Chelsea may also sell striker Nicolas Jackson, who was once considered untouchable by the club.
But after new arrivals and recent discipline issues—including a red card against Flamengo—Chelsea are open to letting him go.
At age 24, Jackson hasn’t responded well to the pressure of competition from Delap and Pedro. His future at Chelsea is now uncertain.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio and The Athletic both say Chelsea are ready to sell if the right offer comes.
Clubs like Juventus and Napoli are more likely to make a move than Manchester United, even though United have been linked with Jackson in the past.
Former Chelsea player John Obi Mikel has even criticized Jackson, saying he “should not be at Chelsea.”
Arsenal’s Summer Attack Plans
Back to Arsenal, football expert David Ornstein revealed that the Gunners are working on signing three attackers this summer.
Madueke might be one of them, depending on how talks go.
Meanwhile, other Chelsea talents are attracting attention from clubs in Spain, who are interested in loan deals.
Summary
- Arsenal have made an offer to Chelsea’s Madueke.
- Chelsea are revamping their attack with four new forwards.
- Madueke and Jackson may leave to make space.
- Arsenal are planning multiple signings to strengthen their team.
