Manchester City’s dynamic midfielder, Bernardo Silva, is reportedly ready to bid farewell to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The 30-year-old Portuguese international, who has been with City since 2017 after joining from Monaco, has become a pivotal figure in Pep Guardiola’s sid.
E amassed 395 competitive appearances and secured 17 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League crown in the 2022‑23 season.
A Season of Mixed Fortunes
Despite being a regular starter this season with 33 starts out of 40 matches, Silva’s individual output has fallen short of his previous high standards, contributing just three goals and four assists.

This underwhelming performance has sparked speculation about his future, with reports from Football Insider suggesting that Silva is set to leave at the end of the 2024‑25 campaign.
Seeking a Fresh Start
Silva’s desire to depart comes after having won every available trophy with Manchester City.
The Portuguese star is said to be open to a fresh challenge abroad, with potential destinations including top clubs in Spain’s La Liga.
Additionally, interest from clubs in Portugal and Saudi Arabia is emerging as the summer transfer window approaches.
Contract & Transfer Implications
Currently contracted until the summer of 2026, Silva’s situation could become more attractive to potential buyers.
With his market value estimated at €45 million (around £37.7 million), clubs are mindful that his value might dip as he nears free agency at the end of the 2025‑26 season.

Nevertheless, City might still demand a significant fee given his contributions over the years.
A Final Trophy in Sight?
While his Manchester City chapter may be nearing its end, Silva could still add one more accolade to his collection, as the club is just two games away from clinching the FA Cup.
