The 24-year-old Brazilian has struggled for regular game time at Madrid, leading to rumours that he could leave this summer.
Liverpool see this as an opportunity and are reportedly willing to spend big to bring him to Anfield.

Looking for a Díaz Replacement
Liverpool view Rodrygo as a possible replacement for Luis Díaz, who is open to a new challenge.
Bayern Munich are also interested in Díaz and have already made an offer, which Liverpool rejected.
If Bayern fail to sign Díaz, they could also go after Rodrygo — but Liverpool want to move fast and are even planning to travel to Madrid for face-to-face talks.
Arsenal Also Interested, But Behind
Arsenal have also shown interest in Rodrygo in recent weeks, but for now, they’re not pushing as hard as Liverpool.
That puts the Merseyside club in the lead for the player’s signature.
