Liverpool Football Club has announced a special way to honour Diogo Jota after the tragic death of the Portuguese forward and his brother André Silva in a car accident in Spain.
The sad incident happened in Zamora, Spain, where the brothers were driving a Lamborghini.
Reports say one of the tyres burst while they were trying to overtake, causing the car to crash and catch fire.
Both Diogo and André sadly died at the scene.

After confirming the heartbreaking news, Liverpool FC shared a message on their official website expressing the deep sadness felt by the club, the players, and fans around the world.

As a tribute, the club said they will “immortalise” the number 20 shirt Diogo Jota wore.
This means that Jota’s jersey number, 20, will always be remembered at the club.
