Real Madrid has officially signed Liverpool star defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in a surprising early move, even though his contract was about to end on June 30.
Instead of waiting for him to become a free agent, the Spanish football giant offered £10 million to get him now — and Liverpool accepted the deal.
Why the Rush?
Real Madrid wanted Alexander-Arnold to join the team before the FIFA Club World Cup begins on June 15.
