Chelsea have not officially placed Madueke on the transfer list.

Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, as Mikel Arteta prepares for a summer rebuild that could reshape the Gunners’ attacking options.
Despite a strong 2024/25 season with the Blues — where Madueke tallied 11 goals and 5 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions — the 23-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge appears uncertain.
According to The Telegraph, several Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation, with Arsenal named among those showing interest.
Madueke arrived at Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 for a fee of around £30 million.
After a patchy debut year, he found more consistent form under new boss Enzo Maresca last season, even grabbing a memorable hat-trick against Wolves on Matchday 2.
However, with Chelsea actively pursuing a left-wing signing — and having bids rejected for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens — there’s speculation that Madueke could be on the move, especially if Gittens does arrive.
Arsenal’s Interest: Genuine or Just Scouting?
While there’s no formal approach from Arsenal at this stage, sources suggest that the Gunners are conducting background checks on multiple players, including Madueke.
The north London club is in the market for both a winger and a striker, having missed out on Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, who looks set to join Barcelona.
Madueke, primarily a right-winger, is stylistically similar to Bukayo Saka, often cutting in from the right onto his stronger foot.
However, his versatility was on display late last season when he featured on the left, allowing Maresca to deploy Pedro Neto on the right.
Arsenal’s potential pursuit of Madueke may hinge on tactical flexibility and squad depth, especially as they aim to compete on multiple fronts next season.

Arsenal are not alone. Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United are also linked with the England international.
Newcastle and Spurs, both seeking right-sided wingers, are reportedly weighing up moves, while United could turn to Madueke if their push for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo stalls.
Interestingly, Spurs — where Madueke began his youth career before moving to the Netherlands — are exploring a surprise move to bring him back to north London.
Chelsea’s Transfer Strategy
Chelsea have not officially placed Madueke on the transfer list and are not actively offering him to clubs.
However, given the club’s ongoing overhaul under Maresca, there’s a growing belief within the league that several players — including Madueke — may be available for the right price.
The Blues are keen to reshape their forward line and may be tempted to cash in on Madueke if a suitable offer arrives, particularly with interest piling up across the Premier League and Serie A.
