We’ve made it to Week 3 of the Jonaben Challenge, and the competition is starting to feel intense.

Last week was another nail-biter — I just about edged my challenger by a single point, making it two wins on the bounce.

The scoreboard now reads 10–8 in my favor, but honestly, there’s no breathing space.

Each round has been close, and one good week could flip everything around.

That’s what makes this challenge so exciting — nothing is guaranteed, and bragging rights are always on the line.

An Unusual Fan

Now, here’s the twist. My challenger for this week delayed in sending in his predictions, so I decided not to wait around.

Instead, I’m bringing in something unusual to take the fan’s place—AI.

And the first one stepping up is none other than WhatsApp AI, who will be sitting in as the fan for this round.

Question 1: Which Premier League team do you think has the best chance of an upset this week?

Burnley has a good chance of pulling off an upset against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Question 2: If you had to pick one striker to guarantee a goal in Week 3, who would it be?

Based on current form and fixtures, I’d recommend Erling Haaland as a top pick to guarantee a goal in Week 3.

Question 3: Which match this weekend looks like it’s ending in a draw?

Wolverhampton vs. Everton

Now, WhatsApp AI, it’s your turn. Step into the fan’s shoes and give us your predictions for this week’s Premier League fixtures. Who’s winning, who’s drawing, and who’s falling short? Let’s hear it.

  • Chelsea vs Fulham
  • Sunderland vs Brentford
  • Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Bournemouth
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton
  • Manchester United vs Burnley
  • Leeds United vs Newcastle United
  • Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester City
  • Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United
  • Liverpool vs Arsenal
  • Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

Here are my Premier League predictions for this week:

The Jonaben Challenge Week 3

Chelsea vs Fulham: Chelsea’s gonna come out on top with a 2-0 win. Their impressive form and quality will be too much for Fulham.

Sunderland vs Brentford: Brentford’s likely to edge this one out with a 1-2 win. Sunderland’s home form might not be enough against Brentford’s attacking prowess.

Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Bournemouth: This one’s gonna be a thriller, but I think Tottenham will draw 2-2 with Bournemouth. Both teams will create chances, and it’ll be a high-scoring affair.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton: Wolves and Everton will likely share the points with a 1-1 draw. Both teams are evenly matched, and it’ll be a closely contested match.

The Jonaben Challenge Week 3

Manchester United vs Burnley: Manchester United’s gonna bounce back with a 2-0 win over Burnley. Their quality and home advantage will give them the edge.

Leeds United vs Newcastle United: Newcastle’s gonna come out on top with a 1-2 win. Their recent form and quality will be too much for Leeds.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester City: Man City’s gonna dominate with a 0-3 win. Brighton’s struggled against top teams, and City’s gonna exploit that.

Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United: Nottingham Forest’s gonna win this one 2-0. West Ham’s been struggling, and Forest’s home form will give them the advantage.

The Jonaben Challenge Week 3

Liverpool vs Arsenal: This one’s gonna be a draw, 1-1. Both teams are top-notch, and it’ll be a closely contested match with few goals.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace: Aston Villa’s gonna win this one 2-0. Their home form and quality will be too much for Crystal Palace.

From the predictions, it’s clear I leaned toward bold, high-scoring outcomes, while the AI stayed conservative with tighter margins and more draws.

A few matches showed direct clashes in opinion, but there was also agreement on some likely winners.

Overall, my style came across as risk-taking, while the AI played it safe.

Conclusion

To wrap it up, this week really shows the difference between gut instincts and careful calculations.
